THE CLOCK OF ERAS

MIX AND MISS.Gatsh IT.
I DNT know..just woke up felt like i should blog about life..the eras..I KNOW MY ERA..WHATS YOURS?

The Eras are the subdivisions of a game of Civ World. They mark the passage of time, the advancement of technology and military might, and the accumulation of great wealth and beautiful culture.
Each era represents a portion of the game with its own victory conditions, and winning the Eras at the top of a powerful Civilization is the best way to win Fame and work towards overall victory.
I KNOW YOU NOT sittin' there thinking am on some scientific tip..no.HEELL NAW!! this is all about- the fashion era!right? RIGHT! LIKE SAND THROUGH THE HOUR GLASS SO ARE DAYS OF OUR LIVES
As you evolve, so will your style...your style should reflect your aesthetics, your creativity, your life principles, culture, aspirations, lifestyle etc. in order to find your personal style ,
you have to find the person that you are and know her well. You know how i feel about personal journeys... give your self time if need be..no need to rush to figure it all at once...go at your own pace. Rome wasn't built in a day neither will your wardrobe or your style journey for that matter...

1930's
1940's
1950's
1960's
The 1960s is an exciting era in vintage clothing and fashion. The hemlines went anywhere from floor length to ultra mini. Mod style appeared in the late 60s setting a tone of a whole new era of style. The new look made way for a lines and empire waists and the colors went from solid to bold, psychedelic with a hint of warmth.

Big and bright flowers were a common sight during this period. These were often seen on dresses and even skirts. Girls loved to wear such dresses with daisy prints! Polka dots were also quite popular during this period. The hippy culture strongly caught on in the 1960’s as well. The hippy culture had their own way of defining their groups; one could see the youth wearing bell-bottom jeans and tie and dye prints. Color was the one factor that bound hippies together. Long skirts in contrasting colors soon became a huge hit with women. Headscarves and headbands were used to complete the look. Men and women who belonged to this hippy culture also loved wearing a whole load of jewelry. This jewelry was as colorful as their attire.

1970's
Shoes

Another one of the most well known trends from the 70s was platform shoes. These shoes were similar to heels, except they have a more chunky appearance and simply add height. It was common for platform shoes to range from anywhere between 4 inches to 7 inches in height. Another one of the shoe trends that emerged during the 70s was clogs.

 Hot Pants

A fashion trend that emerged during the 70s and consistently goes through phases of popularity is hot pants. Hot pants are basically very short shorts, which reached about the same length (or shorter) than micro skirts. They come in various colors and designs.

Color Coordination

One of the little known fashion trends of the 70s is color coordination, as well as pattern coordination. Up until this point, people had to go to various stores in order to find what they were looking for. Now, they were able to find clothes in the same store which were meant to match one another.

 Types of Jeans

One of the most well known fashion trends of the 70s is the types of jeans that were popular during this time. Bell bottoms and flared jeans were the most common types that were worn. They were worn by both men and women. During this time, the pants suit became very popular for women.

 Skirt Length

Some people during the 70s did wear maxi skirts, in which the length of the skirt reaches very close to your ankles. However, it was more popular for short skirts to be worn during the 70s. Mini skirts reach well above the knees, while micro skirts reach above the thighs in length. These are the two types of skirts that were most popular during the 70s. Skirts came in a wide variety of colors and patterns.
1980'S FASHION GaTsh

Leg Warmers

were not just for exercising in the 80s. These were actually   worn as a fashion item! Usually in conjunction with a short    mini skirt.

Shoulder Pads

were not just worn by football players. Women went for the square shouldered look by putting shoulder pads in their outfits. Because, you know, what woman would not want to look like a football player? This form of 80s fashion showed up often on the night time soaps like Dynasty.

Ray-Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses

Ray-Ban Wayfarers were by far the most popular sunglasses worn in the 80s. Originally designed in the 1950s, the Wayfarer had declined in popularity by the late 70s. That all changed in 1983 when Tom Cruise wore them for his break out movie role in the film Risky Business. Demand for the glasses took off with hundreds of thousands being sold immediately after the release of the movie. The glasses could be seen on many of the top celebrities of the 80s, including Michael Jackson, Don Johnson, and Madonna

Members Only Jacket

Chances are, if you were into 80s fashion, you had a Members Only Jacket. These jackets were very popular in the 80s. They were first introduced in 1981 and came in a variety of colors.

Acid Wash Jeans

were jeans that were soaked in chlorine or some other product that removed the top layer of blue denim and left the jeans looking white with blue undertones. If you were really cool in the 80s you wore the matching acid washed denim coat to match the jeans. In 80s fashion, you could not have too much denim!
1990's
They say the baggy pants of the 1990s were just plain awkward. Pants didn’t only just seem as if they were about to fall down-men were constantly forced to hitch up their britches. The style was not particularly flattering or particularly comfortable."
The grungy, unwashed look of the 1990s was a huge miss. Ripped pants and shirts just looked sloppy an dirty....(no ..WE GATSH FROS SAY...they looked GATSH:).MIX AND MISS

Her outfits are very feminine and original. She can be seen wearing her trademark leotard and unusual dresses that show off her beautiful legs and figure. She is rarely seen wearing pants, so she is exploiting her femininity to the max.

Fashions may change but change is always in fashion,Most people decide what is fashionable by imitating others, but a small set of “innovators” — perhaps 1 per cent of the total — value change for its own sake and sometimes trigger new trends.
“Innovators are the cool ones who ‘pump’ new fashions into our world,
